We arrived back safely in the UK earlier this week. We are missing the light and warm South African sun as it is now freezing and with snow lying in many parts of the UK. However the memory of the South African spring light and beautiful scenery is still imprinted on our minds and helps banish the cold.
Thank you so much for looking after us so well and being such an interesting tour guide. We enjoyed all our discussions and learnt much more about your beautiful country than we would without your insight.
Some wonderful memories are the views from table mountain, standing in the wind at Cape Point, whale watching, the garden in the Little Karoo, the passes in the Karoo, lunch at Prince Albert, the fynbos, the peace at De Zeekoe, Knysna in the storm, Storms River mouth, seeing elephants, rhinos, cheetahs and lions almost close enough to touch and a leopard playing with her cub in the early morning light.Kirstenbosch totally lived up to expectations.
We were very impressed with all our accommodation and the warm welcome we received everywhere.
So all in all thank you for putting together such an excellent package for us and for taking us on our adventure yourself.
We loved your country and hope that with all the determination we saw to succeed that the country will have peaceful and prosperous future. We do hope to return one day. In the meantime I will recommend you to any of our friends visiting South Africa.

What a great holiday we had. South Africa is a beautiful country. We loved Cape Town. All the tours were wonderful but I particularly enjoyed going to the top of Table Mountain, (the day was lovely and clear and the ocean was so calm), and going to Hermanus. What a lovely town and the drive there was spectacular… We had seafood and it was very, very good…. One thing I liked was that there was music everywhere with people singing or playing instruments in the street. It was very nice. I bought a couple of CDs of African music home with me. Anyway, thanks again for organising the tours for us. We loved our stay in your country.

We have managed to visit all the places you suggested. In the winelands we went to Springfield and Bon Courage (where we had a delightful lunch), we have visited a small town called Montagu and stopped also in Boplaas although the place was closed and we did not have the chance to compare their port wine with the real one (from my own country!). Then we went to Outshoorn and the day after we visited the cangoo caves and an ostrish farm "the safari farm" were I actually had the chance to ride and ostrish! The trip to George was absolutely marvelous with a beatifull landscape. We stoped at a place called Wilderness for a drink and then went to Knysna. We briefly saw the views there and went to Plettenberg bay. Next day we visited the Nature's valley, the Tsitsikama park, went to Storms river mouth and did the cannopy trip which was a lot of fun. Then we drove to Francis bay…. The game reserve was also fantastic. Our safari group was multi-cultural and a lot of fun so even there we were lucky! ....

Your details were absolutely perfect, I didn't even need the GPS as your info was so complete that you were actually better then the GPS itself! Therefore everything went so well that I do not think it could have been better. We found all places to stay with no problems, the places were absolutely marvellous and they were all expecting us upon arrival....

As you say, we are now safely back after a wonderful nearly 3 weeks in southern Africa. All your arrangements went perfectly. Avis had got us a Corolla (I had called in to check the booking/car type on our way through Jo'burg to Durban the previous week). Hippo Hollow Lodge was excellent, and again everything fell into place as planned. We did your Panoramic Route recommendation the first day Sunday, after a long Saturday flying and driving - then 2 early mornings in the park, and a more leisurely breakfast and return on Wednesday.
So everything was great, and we did appreciate all your trouble in making the arrangements for us. And we shall certainly be happy to recommend you to our friends with similar requirements in that area. I am sending Pierre a copy of this, with our thanks Pierre for passing us on to someone so helpful and efficient!

I was going to email you anyway, to thank you for all your help and for booking such a wonderful trip for us. We were all really pleased with how it worked out. The travel went very smoothly and all 4 internal flights went well. Madikwe was wonderful and more than met our expectations! The ranger guide was highly informed and we saw more big animals that we had hoped for: each of us had named two that we REALLY wanted to see! All three of us had our wishes granted, including Niamh, who wanted to see 3 male cheetahs! We really enjoyed out trip. I have passed your details on to three other people already!
