John, Nieu Zealand
The tour was fantastic and I've told all my friends about it. I'm not sure if or when any of them are likely to visit South Africa but I'll certainly point them in your direction if they do.

I enjoyed all parts of the tour, but my favourite part was the guided tour of the Harold Porter (was it?) gardens - the gardens were great, your guide friendly, knowledgable (and full of old fashioned charm!) and there looked to be several longer walks that I wouldn't mind trying if I'm ever back that way. I also really appreciated your willingness to adapt the day's activities at short notice (we ended up having lunch at the gardens instead of further on, because some of us had expressed an interest in walking to the waterfall).

Lunch itself was great too. I like to sample local cuisine and your suggestion of smoorsnoek was the nicest food I had all week. You said at the time that you ate this regularly at home, and I'd love to have your (or your wife's!) recipe so we can all try it (or something close to it) here at home. I've looked it up on the web (and surprised myself at remembering how to spell it!) and there seem to be lots of variations, but none of the recipes sound like what you said to me at the time.

I'm not sure if or when I'll be back either, but I've kept your details.
If you want to send me your newsletter, that's OK, but I can't promise you'll get anything back for your efforts.

I hope your business continues to go well.
